We are excited to have another band join the stage this year with some of our other guests back by popular demand. One Nyte Stand has graciously accepted our invitation to rock the stage at the Third Annual Fallen Aviator Car Show. Band members Joshua Umstead, Ken Jones, Shane Brooks, and
Randy White have been taking Jackson and the rest of West TN by storm for a while now and we are thrilled to have them at our car show for 2016!
Nashville, TN is being caught completely off guard by this 15 year old sensation! Abbie has been winning audiences over with her huge voice from the mere age of 4. Her stage presence and charisma is that of a seasoned veteran of the industry!
She set her sights on being involved in music as a career at a very young age and has never looked back!
Abbie loves country music, but with a powerful, bluesy voice, has been challenged to find a way to combine the two. Growing up in the tiny town of Reagan, TN, she is only a short hour from Memphis, TN, where the blues are oozing from every corner. She has taken every opportunity to absorb this blues influence, and combine it with her love for country music!
Whether it's performing at Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club, the Hard Rock Cafe on Beale St., Nashville Palace, Kentucky Opry, or entertaining at the PBR in Jackson, TN, 14 year old Abbie is stunning audiences with her power, control & stage presence.
She has performed with country music star, Rebecca Lynn Howard, and music legend, W.S. Holland, and performed the national anthem for a record breaking crowd for minor league baseball team, the Jackson Generals.
Probably the most exciting accomplishment, thus far in her short career, was to be chosen from thousands to go to Hollywood and compete for her spot on season 3 of The X-Factor, which aired on FOX network in the fall of 2013.
After receiving four BIG YES' from judges; Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Paulinia Rubio & Kelly Rowland in New Orleans back in the spring of 2013. Abbie prepared herself to fly to California to show them what this little Tennessee girl was all about. Ultimately, being one of the 218 acts that were chosen to move forward and also being one of only 54 in her category was a huge success.
Abbie says the opportunity was once in a life time and that it was one of the best moments of her life. She looks forward to coming back.
Abbie has co-written her first single, "13 Going on 21", with her vocal coach of 9 years. This song is very meaningful to her as she expresses how teens are forced to grow up so quickly these days due to issues such as bullying, growing up in a broken home, and finding out that life is not always fair. After winning WEST TN Idol in June of 2013, a preliminary to Texaco Country Showdown, Abbie's single is in regular rotation on sponsoring station, WYN106.9
Abbie has recently started her own band. It includes; Drew Greenway (Lead guitar & Harmony) Keith Greenway (Bass & Harmony) and Jamie Johnson (Drums,Cajone & guitar).
Together they are playing all over West TN and have a large library of music that is sure to please everyone!
