Once again, the Fallen Aviator Car Show has grown into a bigger and better car show than the year before. Despite the 90°F+ heat, hundreds of enthusiastic and energetic participants, spectators, and volunteers joined together for one day to honor the fallen, raise money for scholarships, and have a great time doing it.
It's a little confusing to find us, so follow these directions carefully! If you use Google Maps on your smartphone or on your computer, you can actually search for "Fallen Aviator Car Show" right in the map and it will bring up directions to lead you straight to the gate.
This is just a sample of what we have up for auction on Saturday. Even if you're not a car nut, there's something for everyone here. There are several items not pictured to include many gift certificates to local businesses. Where else can you find these great items, have some fun, and support a great cause this weekend?
As in years past, the fine folks at Dart's Carts have once again provided us with a beautiful electric golf cart for our silent auction this year. They continue to up the ante year after year and this time is no different.
One of the things we are most excited about this year is our newly designed T-shirts that are inspired by our military background. We have worked closely with ET Motorgear (shirt suppliers for Cruisin' the Coast) who has been on of our most generous sponsors from day one to come up with a design that combines a classic car show theme and the proud military heritage of the Fallen Aviator Car Show.
We have been busy getting ready and the preparations are in full force.
Thanks for the great positive feedback guys! Can't wait to have you here again this year. And you are right, we ABSOLUTELY value our guest's feedback.
We are excited to announce that our Third Annual Fallen Aviator Car Show will be held on September 24, 2016. Last year's car show broke our record for the number of registered cars, trucks, and bikes as well as scholarship funds raised and this year we expect to build even further on the success of the last two years.
If you're the type that can't find your house from your work without using your GPS, read very carefully because most people end up on the wrong side of the airport if they do that.
Here is the overall layout of how we'll be set up on Saturday. As you can see, there will be a lot to do and see!
The final touches are being made on our custom built Corn hole Boards. Check out the US Flag Corn hole board that's nearly complete! It is GORGEOUS! While you're at it, check out the few other auction items that have trickled in.
If you're a seasoned car show attendee, you can probably skip this post, but who knows, you may read something you hadn't thought of before.
